Submission Process
All submissions are managed via EasyChair.
Abstrct
Authors from academia, industry, and research institutes are invited to submit an abstract in the DHM2026 Conference Management System (EasyChair), by 5 December, 2025.
The abstract should include no author names, author affiliations, figures/tables or references.
Please structure the abstract using these headings:
– Title (preliminary)
– Keywords (3-5)
– Topic(s) (see section “Scope and Topics”)
Abstract (max 250 words). The abstract should give an outline of the full paper, indicating the paper’s merits and relevance to the scope of the DHM2025 Symposium, and a brief account of the results.
Notification of acceptance will be sent on 9 January, 2026.
Full Paper
Authors of accepted abstracts are invited to submit full papers. The final paper should be 6-9 pages. The required language is English. All submissions are made in the DHM2026 Conference Management System (EasyChair).
All authors must use the specific template for preparing their full papers and strictly follow the given instructions. The full paper is submitted in the DHM2026 Conference Management System (EasyChair) before 6 February 2026. Templates and further instructions are available through the submission link above.
All submitted full papers will be subject to peer review by the Scientific Committee. To increase quality and minimize the risk of bias, the review process is double blind. To allow this, no names or affiliations of authors should be included in the full paper manuscript to be reviewed. Author names and affiliations are later added when submitting the final (camera-ready) version of the paper.
Review comments on full papers will be sent back to the corresponding author by 13 March, 2026.
The modified final (camera-ready) version of the paper should be re-submitted before 27 March, 2026.
For a paper to be presented at the symposium and published in the proceedings, at least one author per paper needs to register to attend. Note that it is acceptable for registered attendees to present multiple papers, either their own research or that of colleagues or postgraduate researchers.
Submission Instructions
Full papers – final camera-ready copy
Please respond to the feedback from the final review process and amend your papers accordingly. It is essential that you submit three files as part of this final submission process:
- The complete camera-ready copy of your paper in PDF format
- The complete camera-ready copy of your paper in Word or LaTeX format
- The completed Licence to publish file: docx
- On page 1, authors should add the final paper title, authors names in the right order. On the last page, the corresponding author should sign it.
These can all be uploaded to EasyChair. To do this, ‘View’ your previous submission and then click ‘Add or update files’ from the menu on the right.
Please also ‘Update authors’ and identify the presenter for your paper at the symposium.
Final Papers must be prepared according to the camera-ready copy rules produced by Springer. Please see the accompanying Springer Guidelines for Authors of Proceedings.
When viewing your original submission, the Top Menu in Easychair provides access to ‘Templates’ which includes the Word and LaTeX files and the Licence to Publish file.
SHORT INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS:
1. Authors can choose to work with Word or LaTeX – see the most recent template.
2. Please prepare the chapter in one-column format.
3. Please add under the title the authors’ names, institution, country, city, country (no street or any other address part – neither a complete private address – should be added there, as this will show up on our webpage). Please see page 1 of the Author Instructions above.
4. Each chapter should begin with an abstract that summarizes its content in no more than 200 words. The abstract will appear online at SpringerLink and be available with unrestricted access to facilitate online searching, using e.g. Google, and allow unregistered users to read the abstract as a teaser for the complete chapter.

6. Please include all affiliations and e-mail addresses (or at least the email address of the corresponding author) in the chapter you submit to the book editors. The e-mail addresses will be used by SpringerNature to provide authors with a personal account where they can download a free copy of the eBook upon publication
7. Permissions for any material authors want to reuse from previous publication should be obtained by the corresponding publisher they want to reuse. Usually, authors can GET PERMISSION online by using RightsLink. In rare cases, they need to contact the publisher directly. Moreover, Springer is a STM signatory publisher. If authors wish to reuse materials published by another signatory publisher, they can check the corresponding guideline for permission.
8. Refer to Springer self-archiving policy for non-open access book and chapters. If this book is NOT an open access one, please check the policies for self-archiving of books and chapters published via the subscription route.
